{ There Must Be More Than This }
"Sianz", "Could there have been more?" and "Why does it not seem as happening as I hope for it to be?" are questions that many people may ask after some events or occassions. Whether it was voiced out or something that we secretly wonder to ourselves, it remains that people are always hoping for something more. We look forward to an event/occassion with the hope of it being really fulfilling. Yet, the way things play out, it felt superficial, with the lingering sense of "I want something more". Life was definitely hard-going when my days went past just like that with these unmet longings and expectations. I'm reminded once again of the need and purpose for a deep and genuine fellowship, and when we gather for a purpose that is higher than ourselves - that is what differentiates us from the world out there. True, certain activities and things we do are probably the same as everyone else, but the significance and meaning behind those things are defninitely much more fulfilling. Going beyond superficial friendships, we bring each other to a purpose that's much bigger than just for ourselves. And I'm glad to be part of it. 2:54 AM • Thursday, June 11, 2009
On a lighter note, went for chalet with those little dudes. Revisited WWW after like a few years? Lol. Pretty ok for me since I don't go there often. Bumped into Jason and gang, entertained myself by watching ZC and Nic having their water fights. And I've proven my dominance over Gerald in the water! Outcome of War of the Floats - Ah Lee dominated and beat G hands down! Ultimate moves like "Kick Splash" and making use of the terrain and resources were the keys to win. LOL. Ok, so I had fun fanning the fire for bbq, showering people with ashes. :P Also celebrated Nat's birthday and think she had a great time. Now, gotta catch up on sleep b4 Night Cycling this Sat... Haxx...
