For some reason, choosing and holding on to what's ideally right is always so tiring and challenging. At some point, due to human weakness or perhaps even human need (understandably), the easier route is taken with the 2nd best option. 6:12 AM • Monday, March 1, 2010
Not the best, but understandable.
If only I would just choose the easy way out, one that is so much more comfortable, so much more carefree. Plus, I'll minimize the risk of standing out from the rest, as everyone moves down that humanly understandable route.
We've all reached a stage where we could make our choices without much "barriers" standing in our paths anyway.
But somehow, a part of me just can't bear to choose that compromise. It does gets a bit burdensome at times, but I do hope I remain that way.
With more love and desire to please the audience of one, the greater the tenacity to stay on course.
