{ Why Am I Doing This Again? }
The more one serves in the church, the more imperfection one will see. 7:00 AM • Thursday, August 12, 2010
Somehow, the question pops up so much more nowadays - why doesn't the system change to suit this and that, why do i not feel part of the group, why don't we get to meet so often (or rather, depending on who, why meet so often) etc
So MY question is, "Why don't we stop looking at our needs/wants and be generous enough to meet the needs of others?"
Now that i think of it, the reason why i derive headaches from discipleship plans, structures, dynamics of the group, relationships among the group, rate of maturity of the people, others-focused momentum of the individuals etc, it's all simply because there are needs to be met. An average of 45 lives worth of needs to be met is impossible feat for anyone person.
In any case, my love for the church will still persevere.
