An Outstanding Weekend With the Father And His sons.Thank God for: 8:00 AM • Sunday, November 14, 2010
Him. He made everything different. In fact, He made ALL the difference. Through great, well-timed words, circumstances and fantastic pple.
Chong: For being so on-the-ball and diligent as the Camp Commandant and liasing for all the transports and $ collection and the, erm, surprise Birthday celebrationsss
Gavin: Pressing on in the P&W sessions despite losing your voice and supporting the program by mobilising people to the different segments
Junwei: Doing the games, holding the fort for leading PM and stepping in last minute in times of dire need for guitarist
Fun-sized Melvin: For doing the Teaching point slides so creatively, for helming Keyboard and liaison with MSC and the wonderful entertainment of 13 T****Ks
Other-Melvin: Assist camp commandant (not even sure if this role is known, but it existed), taking 1 weeks leave to prep, putting up with high lvl requirements
Weisong: Last minute guitarist for the bulk of the P&W, stressful but went thru it willingly anyway and also for doing up the games
Daniel: Was tired right after book out but came as early as possible, helping out with the games, making best efforts to incorporate the values to the activities
Dennis: Playing 2nd Keys for the 1st time in such a setting and being so humble to learn
CY: Helping out with the violin really does make a difference and also stepping in to give helpful advice when everyone's panicking at the last minute.
Bindi and Wei En: The original guitarists who BOTH fell sick but made due efforts to contribute and hold out as best as as possible, can see their heart in this
Edmund & Chenxiang: Helping me out with MM clips and lyrics at the most intense of moments, kinda saved the day too
Louis Hor-Fun: Helping out with the vocals and music, pulling the cords on the annoying ringing phone (i like), stemming interruptions to our meetings
PLUS Kenny, Gilly & Hush Puppy: together coming up with the song with only a prac of 40min or less for the birthday celebrationsss, greatly appreciate it
Chengwei: Not much frontline action seen, but being part of the background prep for the whole camp and helping out the camp comm all these few weeks
And to the many many of you cool dudes who came despite being tired after your crazy NS schedule, hungry to receive and being a part of this whole PLAN!!!
{ Why Am I Doing This Again? }
The more one serves in the church, the more imperfection one will see. 7:00 AM • Thursday, August 12, 2010
Somehow, the question pops up so much more nowadays - why doesn't the system change to suit this and that, why do i not feel part of the group, why don't we get to meet so often (or rather, depending on who, why meet so often) etc
So MY question is, "Why don't we stop looking at our needs/wants and be generous enough to meet the needs of others?"
Now that i think of it, the reason why i derive headaches from discipleship plans, structures, dynamics of the group, relationships among the group, rate of maturity of the people, others-focused momentum of the individuals etc, it's all simply because there are needs to be met. An average of 45 lives worth of needs to be met is impossible feat for anyone person.
In any case, my love for the church will still persevere.

When I think about... 8:54 PM • Thursday, June 3, 2010
How you saved me
How you heal me
How you pick me up
How you turned me around
How you placed my feet on solid ground
Let my life bring a genuine offering of praise
{ End of ID2010 }
2.5 days of heaven on earth just flies past so quickly. Kinda miss the past few days we had, witnessing the Spirit moving through the lives and hearts of people. Ministering unto others drew me a lot into his embrace; the Word/encouragement that God wants to speak came just so naturally in a supernatural way. Truthfully, this is one of the few occasions that I felt so compelled by the Spirit to speak the truth and give some hard knocks in such a real and personal way. I'm glad I abandoned my plan and took His cue. 5:47 AM • Monday, May 31, 2010
It's the end of the conference, but it cannot be the end of this whole deal about intentionally building biblical disciples.
It's time for old wineskin to be replaced with new ones, before the wineskin burst and put the new wine to waste.
{ ID 2010 }
It's gonna be an exciting conference! Though I think it's gonna take another toll me sia. Gotta depend on God for a reymar word and to really look forward to receive from Him. God, speak to us, through the leaders, our lives and the different programs tomorrow. 11:14 AM • Friday, May 28, 2010

some things are just too alluring. 9:15 AM • Monday, May 3, 2010
and they do get alluring in an annoying way.

{ God Indeed Provides }
It's easy to be on a high one day and the very next to be at the bottom of the pit. 6:49 PM • Tuesday, March 30, 2010
Momentum, once stopped is hard to build again.
It is so important to be cherished and maintained.
In any case, God does provide EVERYTHING, for EVERY lesson to be learnt. Jonah 4:6-8
